Our current board members work hard all year to provide our members with the appropriate resources, information, and service events they need to be successful in their undergraduate/pre-dental careers.
Jenna Kaur

Major: Biology
Favorite thing about PDSOP: I joined PDSOP my first year as a first-generation college student with little knowledge of dentistry, and the support I found inspired me to give back as Social Chair last year and now Co-President. I’ve learned the value of having mentors along this journey, and I’m excited to work with my co-president to bring in new speakers and strengthen our mentorship program for underclassmen. My favorite memory is last year’s end-of-year banquet, with amazing raffles, Jon & Vinny’s catering, and a chance to celebrate together!

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I initially joined PDSOP to explore dentistry and decide if it was a career I wanted to pursue. Over the last two years, I learned about how big of an impact dentists can make on people’s lives and the importance of quality education. This year, I’m looking forward to bringing the pre-dental community at UCLA closer and helping everyone reach their goal of becoming a dentist.

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I joined PDSOP to connect with a group of pre-dental students who are passionate and dedicated to learning about dentistry. I’m excited to continue to make friends and grow alongside people who share my goals. This year on board, I’m looking forward to helping create events that make the path to dental school feel a little less overwhelming for everyone!

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I joined PDSOP because I wanted to be a part of a community of students at UCLA who shared the same career goals as me! I loved the welcoming and friendly environment that PDSOP fostered, and I hope to continue to bring the same energy this year. I am looking forward to connecting with more students and hosting interactive social events!

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I joined PDSOP to gain more exposure to the dental field, but I stayed due to the supportive and truly welcoming environment of the club. I’ve learned about everyone’s unique paths to dentistry and have been so inspired, which drives me to pursue my individuality while combining my passion for oral health.

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I joined PDSOP because I wanted to learn more about the field of dentistry and connect with other pre-dental students. PDSOP offers so many valuable resources through guest speakers, socials, and opportunities to learn about the financial aspect of dentistry. One of my favorite PDSOP memories was the impressions workshop. I am looking forward to helping more pre-dental students navigate their pre-dental journey, sharing what I have learned along the way, and meeting everyone!

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I joined PDSOP to find a community of students with similar experiences who could offer support and insight into what to expect throughout my pre-dental journey. Through PDSOP, I’ve made genuine connections with people in my classes who are navigating the same path, while also gaining valuable insight into different dental schools and the realities of the profession. Now, as a board member, I’m extremely excited to connect with both new and continuing pre-dental students, grow closer with the rest of the board, and help create the same sense of community that I found through PDSOP.

Favorite thing about PDSOP: I joined PDSOP to find a pre-dental community with like-minded peers and mentors. I am looking forward to making another mentorship family and finding new pre-dental friends. My favorite PDSOP memory was one of last year’s socials where we built a cyclohexane out of gummies!

PDSOP has helped me be more involved within the pre-dental community and I have met so many amazing people. My favorite memory was going to an elementary school to teach girls about oral hygiene and helping them make teeth out of clay, and I am looking forward to having more fun community service events this year!!
